It was dark, dank, the temperature almost felt unnerving to the little bundle of life that was recently introduce to the world. Her eyelids sealed shut against her optics refused her sight of the beauties the seal point would see once she found the strength to finally break out of them. And, yet, despite the feelings of the world around her and the dirt brushing up against her stomach fur, she felt safe, cared for. Unfortunately, she couldn't hear her name, the sense that was opened up to her was smell, and oh could she smell.

The smell of water, and pine, with the hint of ash and mud, it all mixed into her subconsciousness, as if giving her an image to find out what the world might really be like. But, the kitten dismissed these thoughts, and began to snuggle up into her mother's fur, hungry mouth searching for a flap of body on her mother's body to latch onto and feed.

Yes, it had only been two moons since Obsidiankit had found herself squirming at Fahrenheit's stomach, attempting to find the teat not taken up by her seven siblings, only being able to smell the world, instead of see it with her own eyes, or hear it with her auditories. When she finally squirmed her eyelids open, it had been a windy and rainy day, but it was the best day of her already short life. It was also a bit hard to learn to talk after that, and she still didn't have a decent vocabulary and often stopped mid-sentence to think of her words and find one to fit her thoughts. But, of course, Obsidiankit was still learning, and she still had quite the time before she was an apprentice, she would probably be speaking well by then, if not, then sooner.

Her small, stout pillars carried her outside of the stuffy, dark nursery of which reeked of milk and pregnant queens, and it was also quite crowded in there, considering her sisters and brother must also be romping up a storm in there. Sometimes she just didn't want to be in there, it made her feel like such a caged bird, socializing with her siblings. It was best that she met some new faces before she want crazy. However, no faces outside of the camp, she was a good kit, she wouldn't dare break the boundaries and guidelines set by higher authorities. Softly, her paws relished in a soft patch of sunshine, however, it was short lived as wispy, dark gray clouds began to move in, blocking the sun and calling out a storm. And somehow, it felt like it did when she was birthed, however muuch patches she couldn't remember of the moment.

Soon, she felt the drops of rain, falling like bullets and drenching cats pelts as they ran for cover, while some relished in the fresh moisture. However, Obsidiankit was different than the ones in the falling liquid, and rushed into a shade, a cliff overhand, her eyes poking out in the darkness as her already rain coated fur dripped onto the grass and rock. She already felt it weighing down. Why did sahe have to be born with long fur?

Obsidiankit glanced up at the she-cat that had clasped her jaw onto the flap of skin above her neck, carrying her away from the overhang she had managed to snag from any other hopefuls looking for shelter. Yet, of course, it was big enough for everyone else, she was only a small kit, while everyone else could obviously squish her while huddling in. There was plenty room. With a soft mewl coming from an opened jaw as she was picked off the ground, she listened to the apprentice's words, her ears perked.

A story? Frankly, the kit had never heard a story before, and it was exciting. What were these stories about? She inquiried inside her head, blue eyes glancing over and into the dark den that was sheltered from the pouring rain that came in a flash. Glancing over the apprentice's shoulder, she found herself glancing at another cat. It looked like she was going to listen to the story as well. Quickly, she glanced back to where she was glancing before, accepting that the cat was now following the two into the den.

Oh, why did she do this? A wind blew through the furs of many, however, it was actually a bright and sunny day, with heat baking their pelts as they lazed in camp or ran among the forest floor out of the clearing that Thunderclan and claimed. The soft breeze that blew among the blustery day softly buzzed among tree branches to softly tap against them, making them bend under a soft pressure. And of course, Obsidiankit was actually no where on the ground. Her, being her adventurous self, had got herself stuck in a tree, on a lower hanging branch. Although she had quite the struggle getting up the trunk, she had down it, and she got herself stuck.

Her tiny claws pricked into the base of the branch, her body squirming on the foundation of the narrow limb as to not fall, because if she did, she felt as if all the bones in her body would break. Although, hey wouldn't. It was a very low hanging branch, a full grown cat could jump off of it without a scratch on their body, but to a kit, the length was like a mile. Her body scrunched up against the bark and her eyes wide,s he stared down at the ground, fear hanging on her like a sparrow circling her head. This tree was in camp, because as she had thought, she would never break the rules of camp, or she would mentally beat herself. But, the rule never said she couldn't climb trees. Little did she know she would become this little kitten, curled up in helplessness.

A mewl ran from her jaw, calling out for help in the bustle and hustle of camp, however, it was just a whisper among the commotion and racket of patrols, apprentices, and other kits. Why was she born into such a big clan?

Obsidiankit found herself being a bit weak, she thought, being stuck in a tree that she supposed any cat could probably get down. She continued to ask herself, why couldn't she? Eh, it was a dumb thought. She could, right! Yeah, she wasn't scared of anything! ..Maybe. A soft sigh flew from her maw as her mind was stampeded with both negative and positive thoughts, causing her to be confused herself. She continued to press against the bark, causing a bit of it's excess to plummet into her fur.

And suddenly, she heard a voice below her, and her ears pricked as she glanced beneath her own branch, eyes widening in curiosity. A tortoiseshell and white from what she saw, below her about two cats and a grizzly, and a troubled smile appeared against her face. Help sounded nice right now, but her ego almost denied her of words to come from her dry mouth, pride welling up in her stomach. Finally gathering up all the courage in her little kit body, she choked out a tiny mewl, fragmented from her lack of vocabulary. "Yes... Please. I would... want some help."

Obsidiankit was once again carried to the outside world, fancying he great bursts of air and smells instead of the drafty, reek of milk that resided int he nursery. Normally, she would go outside instead of stay inside. Mostly, the she-kit only went back in for milk from her mother, Fahrenheit, or to gather up one of her siblings to play. Everything else, she did outside, as the small,c I fined den made her feel like a caged up hummingbird, with no room to stretch out it's wings into a blazing fire of glory.

Softly, the she-cat trotted around the camp, her paws touching the ground lightly as she landed, continuing to bounce her body up. That was, until she fell. A sinking feeling ran into her heart as she couldn't find the earth beneath her paws, her body flying through the air with no ground to support its weight. She landed softly into a trench, her kitten body just a small piece of dirty cream and black against the brown background of dirt.

She found herself unable to get out, either.

Rising to her paws, the she-cat made out a mewling sort of sound, her whiskers twitching as she pawed at he loose earth, it only crumbling beneath her weight as she tried to scale it. A soft sigh flew from her mouth a she awaited rescue.

The she-kit continued to mewl, desperately needing help, although her meows were but a small voice of many, as the clamming and buzz of the daily life of. Thunderclan. Her sapphire blue eyes looked up from the narrow ditch, sitting like pearls against her face, however filled with pleads for assistance. Ears set squarely on her head and listening for any voices somehow close to her, or directed at her, or maybe just simply saying her name, well, whatever, it was, they were ready for it. After all, this was the last time the kitten would be running around without a close eye on her own, dark and light, soft, rather large paws.

And that was when she realized the voice of Wildlife - the Thunderclan deputy - and quickly perked up, glancing up at him as he spoke. How had she managed to get into this? Well, quite frankly, she didn't know. She just got stuck in a lot of places,a. Lot of places that she couldn't get out of. But, she just shrugged her shoulders, not feeling the need to mention her series of bad decisions. She was just staring up at the deputy when she heard the voice of another cat from out of the ditch, a voice that called out her name. She perked up again, and let out a meow as loud as her little vocal cords could manage.

    "Over hwere!"

Obsidiankit continued to look up at the two for help, her eyes softly reflecting her moments of pleading as she waited for assistance, although she wondered how Wildlife would get into the narrow, long ditch, considering him to be rather large, due to his large, bear body. However, she glanced up again at the new voice, and let out another voice, a smile managing to prick back into her face, as of this wasn't something she should be worried about at all, afterall, she got stuck in a lot of place, and cats always came to get her out, they would come now.

    "Please?"

Obsidiankit continued to stare at the cats, her wide yes poring through them as she silently called out for a plead of help, an impatient look on her face as she continued to lay her body in the trench. Softly, a sigh was let out as she nodded atSheamus's question, only wanting to get out so she could play more.

Obsidiankit had been lazily playing b y herself, finding none of her siblings around to actually have some fun with her white and black paws batting at the moss ball in front of her. Green tendrils running across the ground as she jumped and leapt at it, she tore it apart - of course, on accident. Her tiny pinpricks of claws hung up by the green moss, she found herself disheartened by her accidental destroyance of the playtoy, betting that the queens or warriors wouldn't give her another one, as the one was was last using was the remains of an abandoned nest. A sigh flew from her mouth as she looked for another thing to do, leaving the mess behind her.

That's when she heard the call for a patrol. Her face lit up, and she immediately raced up to the group, her eyes shining with excitement as she raised her head to look up at Cryptidstudy. She had heard about the patrols, overhearing warriors talking about what happened on one of them, or some apprentice explaining them toa. Kit. Well, either way, they sounded really fun!

    "Ooh! Ooh! Can I come?"

Obsidiankit continued to look up at the warriors, impatience growing on the she-kit's features and in her posture. Her paws danced around in the trench, her blue orbs contrast against the dark dirt that created the foundation of the earth. Her tail softly flicked, and her body seemed to be growing wiggly, although her body didn't have the best space to move about, heavily different than to when she was just running above the ground, and not in an indent in the ground.

Soon, she grew tired from the mindless wandering of the trench as the warriors above her talked, one of them sticking his head into the trench. If it was only that easy, why didn't they get her out? Obsidiankit bit back the remark, finding herself to be more polite on her demeanor, while her mind was a sarcastic lump of meat in her head. Soon, she just slumped to the ground, getting her stomach fur caked in dirt as she waited, a frown beginning to grow on her face as she grew unhappier with the situation, while back when she first fell into the trench, it was just a game.

Obsidiankit had been continuing her little stay in the trench, it's walls going up beside her, with the evergrowing frown on her face. That was, until, she had heard her mother's voice on the very edge of the trench, and she glanced up as quickly as she could. Seeing her mother's pointed face gave her the soft security she needed in the indent she had found herself in, and she cried out, her blue optics flickering.

    "Mommy! Help!"

She got up, hobbling over to the side of the trench that her mother was on, letting a paw bat at the shifting dirt at the sides. Though, she found that her mother's question had sparked up what she had ignored the whole time she was in the trench. While she was so caught up in getting out of the trench, she hadn't realized how her body ached, and how certain parts of it hurt in a more intense pain when put under pressure. A few little scrapes from the sides of the trench were along her side, gained from when she fell in. It hurt, yeah, and she replied.

    Uhm... Kinda?"

Obsidiankit continued to stare up at Cryptidstudy with eager eyes, her ears flicking slightly as she listened to his words. Guard the camp? That sounded fun! She gave a soft little content smile, and let her maw open to meow up something to the larger cat.

    "Okay! I can do that!"

She meowed, turning away to run away, but actually running up to her mother, Fahrenheit. With a little twitch of her small whiskers and tail, she let out a stubborn meow with a smile to match it, and rubbed her small little body against her mother's legs.

"You better tell me about the forest when you get back! Bye mom!"

Without waiting for an answer, Obsidiankit bounded away from the group, taking up a pretend post at the front of the camp entrance, and letting a serious look take over her features.

A sunny day blew forth as the time flew by, barely passing cats by before it disappeared from their visible eye. The wind that shook the shambles of trees created a soft harmony that whistled through the forest and into cat's ears, their trees howling along to the melody as background singers. Though the sun was high in the sky, some of it's warmth was hidden from earth, white puffs of clouds running front of it to block rays, preventing the day to be too hot, in favor of the cats.

Obsidiankit mindlessly batted around a moss ball in a bored posture, watching it roll across the ground with unamused eyes and hindquarters resting upon the ground. It seemed that the green ball didn't appeal to her anymore, and didn't give her laughs and giggles that made her hiccup all day. It simply just wasn't fun anymore. Often times, she only ever really played by herself, finding none of the kits wanting to play with her, and only talking to adults mostly. What was it like to play with another kit? A sigh formed out of her lips as she stood, rolling the moss back into the nursery and placing it somewhere, before heading out again.

She quickly trotted around camp, trying to find anything, someone who would play with her and would give her just a day of fun. Maybe that would bring the spark back into moss ball.

Her soft paws formed little indents in the dirt that surrounded them, her bouncing up and down as she trotted around the camp, forming a circular path on the outskirts of the large clearing, grasses patching up the ground as rock and green collided. Her white and black pillars carried her in her set path, and although she never knew exactly what she was doing, she just focused on where her paws would plant next, and careful not to misplace her paws, for the last two times she did that, she ended up in the wrong places.

Obsidiankit stopped, however, as a kit she was at a loss for the name approached her, a grin curling at her lips and painting her face as she padded over. Obsidiankit watched with interest as her upper jaw parted to speak some words that fell off her tongue, and Obsidiankit let a grin - almost like the kit in front of her's - take place on her small, but broad face. The blue optics that clashed with the cream and black on her muzzle sparkled with glee as she was introduce to Juniperkit, her ears flicking as flies and mosquitos rested on the sensitive auditoriums. With a large smile on her face, Obsidiankit sat, her tail flowing out from her hindquarters in a snake like motion. Parting her jaws, she gathered up he rbreath and voice and let words flow from her throat.

    "Hi! I'm Obsidiankit!"

Obsidiankit continued to make little indents in the ground from her rosy pink paw pads, which made smudged imprints in the dirt that had resided in the clearing of Thunderclan, where green clashed with grey and brown, into a mix of terrains and types of ground. Her whiskers blew along the sides of her face, the white tendrils that were attached to her persona waving in the wind that slashed at her face as she trotted. However, she stopped as the shiba inu bounded up to her, the tail that rested on her hindquarters wagging as a sign of happiness.

She watched the dog pup inquiry of what had been on the she-cat's mind, and Obsidiankit merely let her tail flick softly, her ears angling forward as a sign of her listening to the voice in front of her. "Oh, I'm just a bit bored!" She replied, a toothy grin running up her face and painting it with her teeth. The blue optics that rested on her face int eh shape of almonds turned to glance at Hushedkit, and her cranium followed, swiveling on her neck to glance at the kit before the two. With another toothy grin, the she-cat introduced herself. "Hi there Hushedkit! I'm Obsidiankit, but you can just call me Obsidia!"
